RASHES, ITCHING

Skin rashes such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and iching may be treated with topical and oral medications. Prescription topical creams, foams, gels, solutions/lotions, and ointments are used most commonly. Oral medications for anti-inflammatory, antimbicrobial, and anti-itch are used for more severe skin rashes. In-office treatments include narrow band ultraviolet B Light Box.
Narrow Band Ultra-Violet B Light Box: This is a drug free alternative for the treatment of moderate to severe rashes. Light treatments are generally done 2-3 times weekly with tapering as the skin clears.
